Geology is the study of the Earth, its history, the materials of which it is made, and the processes that act upon them. It is a broad discipline in which many different careers are available in a variety of sectors including Government, Industry, Consulting, and Education. Most of our graduates secure jobs in the oil and gas industry, mining industry, consulting fields, and in federal and state governmental agencies, but many specialize in other areas as well. Many of our graduates continue on to graduate school for the masters and doctorate degrees, a few have gone on to be college professors. Our graduates work in dozens of foreign countries, and all across the United States.
