Cole was born and raised in the state of Texas. He has had an interest in weather since early childhood and takes special interest in learning how to best communicate the weather story to the public. Before coming to Mississippi State, Cole served as a broadcast meteorologist in South Texas. He loves calling Starkville home and enjoys spending time with friends and attending MSU sporting events. Cole working on a grant with the Northern Gulf Institute to further tornado and severe thunderstorm research in the southeastern United States.
