Michelle Martin

Michelle Martin joined Geosciences as Business Manager in March of 2019 after spending eight years working for the Bagley College of Engineering family.  As Business Manager, she manages the daily financial activities of the unit, which include budget preparation and control, accounting, purchasing and business planning and management.  She says her favorite part of her job is working with the diverse students, staff and faculty in the department.

While she is originally from Marion, Ohio, Martin attended Aenon Bible College in Indianapolis, Indiana with an associate’s degree in Church Administration/Christian Education and Mississippi State University with a bachelors in Educational Psychology.   She is currently working on her Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling.   When she’s not handling Geosciences’ business, Martin enjoys being active in her local church,  Apostolic Assembly of Jesus Christ by teaching, working with the youth ministry, singing on the praise team and instructing the praise dance ministry.  She also enjoys laughing, traveling, drawing and spending time with her husband, family and friends.
