Tina Davis began her career at Mississippi State University in 2007 as the Compliance Coordinator in the Office of Regulatory Compliance. She joined the Geosciences department in 2010 as the Academic Coordinator for the Starkville campus. Tina serves as a liaison between students and their advisors, and Geosciences and other units within the University. She assigns undergraduate students to advisors, assists with degree audits, completes graduation checklists for Master’s and PhD students, and revises the departmental master schedules each semester. She works closely with the Department Head, Undergraduate Coordinator, Graduate Coordinator, and staff for the Dean of Arts & Sciences as well as Office of the Graduate School.
Tina grew up in Alabama and has lived in Columbus since graduating from Pickens County High School. She attends United Christian Baptist Church and is the proud parent of her son, Alex. Tina enjoys reading, watching movies, and spending time with family and friends.
