Aubrey Palmer is an undergraduate student at Mississippi State University, majoring in geoscience with a concentration in metereology. Palmer's passion lies in understanding the complex interactions between the inhabitants of planet Earth and its weather and climate. As the education director of Students for a Sustainable Campus, Palmer organizes meetings and educational strategies that promote sustainable pracatices within the university community and create environmentally courteous students.

Palmer completed a research project with the National Weather Service focusing on the behavior and evolution of wintertime severe weather setups across Mississippi. They have gained extensive experience through workshops and training in weather observation and forecasting. They aspire to pursue a career in meteorology and climate science, where they can foster awe and appreciation of the Earth, creating healthier relationships between communities and the environment.
