Brett Violett

Brett Violett is a master's student and graduate research assistant at Mississippi State University under Dr. Boniface Fosu. He graduated from VTSU-Lyndon with a B.S. in Atmospheric Science and minors in Mathematics and Physics. His interests are wildland fires, the atmospheric phenomena that cause and affect them, and how they are changing with regional climate.

Violett is studying how land use changes in the Mississippi Delta, notably cropland, is affecting regional climate change.
