Joe Mensah

Joe Mensah is currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Earth and Atmospheric Sciences at the Mississippi State University. He obtained his B.S. and M.S. degrees (MPhil) in Geography at the University of Education, Winneba in Ghana. His research interests are in social marginalization, mental health, climate change and how climate change affects the health outcomes of vulnerable and marginalized groups.

He serves on Theme 4 as a research assistant working with a team to delve into understanding barriers to access healthcare infrastructure and healthy foods among vulnerable people in the Mississippi Delta. His responsibilities also include examining the impacts of climate change and agricultural activities on the health outcomes of vulnerable groups in the Mississippi Delta.
